Specialized Therapeutic Counselling & Programs
We offer individualized counselling, therapeutic services, and programming to individuals (ages 3-29), families, and caregivers living with neurodevelopmental differences in Manitoba, and training for service providers caring for these exceptional families.
Services Include:

Empowering EveryMind is a non-profit organization and does not receive core funding from an external source for services, programming, or operational costs. As such, there are fees associated with individual, family, and group programming, ranging from $20 - $130 per visit.
Funders:
- If your child is eligible for services through Jordan’s Principle, we may be able to help you apply for funding. If you are approved, Jordan’s Principle is billed directly for services with no cost to you.
- If you are involved with Child and Family Services (CFS), the agency may agree to pay for services that they feel is beneficial for your family. Please contact your worker to ask if services can be covered, and request that they help you with a referral.
- If you have private insurance coverage, you will need to know which professional designations your plan will cover.
Special Rates:
- If you feel you may be a good fit for our sliding scale, fees will be based on your gross annual household income (proof of income may be required).
- If you would like to be considered for a compassionate rate (circumstance dependent), a reduced fee may be offered for a limited number of visits. The rate is offered on a case-by-case basis, is approved by our CEO, and dependent on the availability of grant/donation funding.
Apply to Receive Our Services
To apply for services and have a free 20-minute intake call please follow the steps below:
- Connect with Us: Connect with our team directly at info@empoweringeverymind.org. Please allow us 1-3 business days for response.
- Intake Form: Our Intake Specialist will share an intake form with you by email through OWL (our confidential client management system).
- Phone Consultation: We will schedule a 20-minute phone consultation to learn more about you and/or your family, answer any questions you may have, and provide service recommendations by email.
- Proceed with Services: Once you decide if and how you would like to proceed with service and notify us by email, our intake team will share a number of forms for you to complete including: terms of service, consent forms, and information sharing consent (if applicable).
- Connection of Services: We will then connect you directly with the clinician that you chose, or with an available worker that they feel would be a good fit for your needs. You will be able to schedule your first session with the worker directly.
- Completion of Intake: Once you have been connected with a worker, the intake process is considered complete. Should you have any questions or concerns, you are welcome to reach back out to the intake team at any point.
